Today when I was heading up to town I met with one of our customers, an entrepreneur at Moshono. He was riding heading to thresh maize to his customer so I dropped out of the truck to take a selfie with him😄

We have implemented new changes to the Imara Tech site to make it easier for visitors to stay up to date with our work. These changes include:
Blog: We are starting our blog with this very post! The purpose of the blog will be to provide brief updates to our supporters globally as well as document changes any changes on our website. The blog will be different from our newsletters (which feature longer, periodic updates aimed at a global audience of investors, partners, and supporters) and our Facebook and Instagram pages (which focus on customer-facing promotional content).
Solar-Powered Technologies: We have added a new section to the site to provide updates on our ongoing product development of solar-powered agricultural equipment. The section contains resources we continue to develop and currently features two pieces of user research we compiled on flour milling and oil extraction. Going forward, any updates to that section will be announced in a blog post.
